COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
General
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
Who can enter
Subject to the clauses below, entry is open to all residents of Australia who have fulfilled the requirements set out below (‘Eligible Entrants‘). Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, associated agencies and companies, contractors or individuals are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin. Any entrant who is under the age of 18, as of the date of entry, must obtain the prior permission of their legal parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. The parent or guardian may be called to verify their consent and may be required to sign a release at the discretion of the Promoter. The release may also require the entrant’s parent or guardian to accept responsibility for the acts and forbearances of the entrant. The release must be completed with the full name, address and telephone number of the entrant’s parent or guardian. Failure to provide such proof, particulars or releases will immediately invalidate the entrant’s entitlement to any prize, subject to State and Territory legislation. The Promoter is Chatime Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 60 136 677 453) (the ‘Promoter‘). The Promoter’s address is Suite 2 Level 7/66 Goulburn St, Sydney , NSW 2000.
How to enter
To enter Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period (defined below):
- Register to Cut or Colour or Cover your hair on the Bandanna Day website during the Promotional Period. One registration counts as one entry (Eligible Registration).
- By submitting an entry into this competition, entrants consent to receive promotional and other marketing messages from the Promoter (including messages sent electronically for an unlimited period of time). Entrants will be able to opt-out at any time by following the instructions included in each message sent by the Promoter.
Number of Entries permitted
One eligible entry per registration, each entrant can only register once during the Promotional Period. Any entrant found to be using false registration or other proof to demonstrate Proof of Registration was invalid, will have all entries invalidated and will not be able to claim a prize. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any awarded prize to the Promoter. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request. The Promoter may conduct an immediate redraw if the first drawn entrant is unable to satisfy this clause.
Open, Close, Draw and Publish dates
The competition commences on 16/08/2022 at 12:00 AM and closes 27/10/2022 at 5:00 PM (‘Promotional Period‘). All times noted in these Terms and Conditions are local times, based on the location of the Promoter. If any draw date falls on a public holiday, as defined in the state of the Promoter, that draw will be conducted on the next business day. Entries must be received by the Promoter prior to the competition close date and time.
The winners will be the first valid entry drawn at Canteen, 75 King St, Newtown NSW 2042
on 28/10/2022 at 11:00 AM. The Promoter will ensure that all entries have an equal chance of winning a prize.
The winner will be notified by email and phone within two business days of the draw.
Prizes details (or in the case of vouchers, prize confirmations) will be sent within 28 days of the draw.
The Promoter may conduct such further draws on 4/11/2022 (at 11:00 AM at Canteen, 75 King St, Newtown NSW 2042) as the original draw in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by this date, subject to State and Territory legislation. Winners of any further draws will be notified by email and phone within two business days of the draw.
Prize on offer
The total prize pool is valued at up to a maximum of $1,270 (Including GST), as at 05/08/2022.
The total number of competition winners in this competition is one.
The prize on offer is:
- 2-nights holiday for 2 people to stay in a standard King Room (or equivalent) at their nearest participating Hilton Hotel, Australia. Value of Prize $750 (max)
- Includes: The Hilton Voucher, includes breakfast for 2 people and hotel parking
- One year’s Supply of Chatime (one drink per week for 52 weeks) Value of Prize $520 (max)
Further Terms and Conditions:
Employees of Chatime Australia Pty LTD, immediate family members of employees, employees of any company or agency associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.
Chatime Australia Pty LTD reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
A Year’s Supply equates to one drink per week for 52 weeks at a $10 retail price and these points are added to the winners Loyal-Tea account. If Chatime Australia Pty LTD stops trading the prize is voided.
The prize is non-transferable and can not be exchanged for cash. In the event that the winner does not respond to notification of their prize win within the time outlined above then the prize will be forfeited by the winner. No further correspondence will be entered into.
Chatime Australia Pty LTD reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for equal value at their discretion.
The Hilton Hotel voucher is redeemable at the nearest participating capital city in Australia, and is subject to availability and black-out dates. Participating hotels are in Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne Queen Street, Sydney, Surfers Paradise and Perth. It may only be redeemed once, is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given if the voucher is not completely used. Advanced bookings are necessary and there shall be no replacement for lost vouchers. Bookings must be requested 48 hours in advance. Total room booking for 2 nights may not exceed $750. Additional services at some hotels including but not limited to ‘Couple's massage’ are not bookable on Sundays and other service restrictions may be in place depending on the location and dates.
If any prize remains unclaimed for 7 days after being notified, the prize will be forfeited and no alternative prize will be granted.
Acceptance and agreement of these terms & conditions is assumed by entering the competition.
