Pentland Primary School

We are taking part in Canteen's Bandanna Day!

Dear Families,

On Thursday, 31st October, our school will be recognising Bandana Day.
Bandana Day is an important event that raises awareness and funds to support young people living with cancer. The money raised goes towards vital services, programs, and care that help young people and their families through some of the toughest times in their lives.

This day is not only about fundraising but also about showing solidarity, kindness, and community spirit. By taking part, we help to ensure that young people with cancer feel supported and know that they are not alone.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Buy a Bandana: Students can purchase a bandana through the school for $7. Bandanas will be available in a variety of bright and fun designs.

  • Wear Your Bandana: On Thursday 31st October, students are encouraged to proudly wear their bandana to school to show their support.

  • Gold Coin Donations: If you would like to contribute further, students are welcome to bring a gold coin donation on the day.

Every bandana purchased and every coin donated helps fund vital services for young people affected by cancer. Together, as a school community, we can make a difference.

Thank you for your generosity and support. We look forward to seeing our school full of colourful bandanas on the day!

Warm regards,
Kieran Harman and the Junior School Council
